Young Eagles Pilot Reaches Milestone

Merritt Island, Florida – December 5, 2007 – Merritt Island pilot, Tony Yacono (EAA#406740), flew his 500th Young Eagle on November 17th at Merritt Island Airport. He flew three brothers, Robert, Christian and Jared La Roche from Cape Canaveral. Since 1992, the pilots of Merritt Island Airport have flown 3562 Young Eagles. The next Young Eagles Day will be in the Spring. Tony has been the Chapter’s Coordinator since 1996. Submitted by EAA Chapter 724
