Face Book

With September already upon us, many chapters are planning their fall rally schedule. We have a number of resources available on the Young Eagles web site to make planning and executing an event easier. Also remember to add your rally to the EAA Calendar of Events.

Other resources:
Order Supplies on line
Flight Rally Planner
Generic Rally News Release
Pilot Guidelines
Certificate Printing Program
Young Eagles Rally Notice Form

Now is also a good time for pilots to check to see if they have reached their "10 for 2008." Pilots who fly 10 or more Young Eagles in a calendar year earn credits that can be used to help off-set the cost of sending a Young Eagle to one of the EAA Air Academy sessions next summer. Each year, many pilots fall just a few Young Eagles short of earning credits. Many chapters have created scholarship funds, using credits to help send a youngster to camp. Even if you are not a chapter member, you can still help a deserving kid. Pilots can return their credits to headquarters and we'll use them in the general Air Academy scholarship fund. It's a great way to inspire a Young Eagle. The current 10 for 2008 listing.

EAA Chapter 402, Newark, OH “Breakfast and Fly-In”

EAA Chapter 1058, Hartsville, SC “Youth Police Academy”
